SLLLC is pleased to offer consultative services via telephone, in our office or at school site for parents, schools and various educational systems seeking direction, support and advice regarding second language development affects on a child’s educational needs. This includes children who are growing up bilingually or have not yet achieved sufficient English language proficiency as well as internationally adopted children.
We can review reports, view video tapes, Individual Educational Plans, speech-language evaluations as well as assist in recommending effective supportive language services for children who require specialized second language programming and support.
If needed, services by SLLLC can be provided on an as needed basis to support overall language function and academics of your bilingual, dual language or second language child either in our office, at school site or via phone consultation.

Often children learning English as a second language are placed in special education needlessly or do not receive appropriate support in the English language so that academic success is facilitated. Instead, they often miss out on quality second language support and are categorized as deficient and tracked accordingly.
